Creating Awareness through Public Education
Summit conducts public education activities to create awareness through education of policymakers and the public about disability-related issues, promoting understanding and support for change. This includes educating and supporting persons with disabilities to work together to dismantle barriers preventing them from full community participation and living independently.

Stay informed and advocate for disability rights with the Montana Centers for Independent Living (MTCIL) Action Alert system. The MTCIL Action Alert system is an email listserv and online action center designed to inform you about current local, state, and national issues that affect the lives of people with disabilities and make it easy for you to contact your elected officials and other decision-makers.
Our Action Alert system offers many opportunities for you to get involved, follow our advocacy efforts, as well as look up and contact your elected officials.
