Ensuring Accessibility

Summit’s systems advocacy work includes working to reduce attitudinal, architectural, and communications barriers, promoting a more accessible, inclusive society. Summit offers accessibility audit services and provides technical assistance to local business’, governments, housing and transportation providers, and other entities to build community capacity that meets the needs of individuals with disabilities and to provide education on physical and programmatic accessibility requirements. Summit also partners with project planners to ensure access is an integral part of any design from the start rather than an after thought.
